Job Purpose

Napa Home and Garden is looking for a Junior Content Creator who can help bring our digital media and ecommerce presence to life. This entry-level position is ideal for a creative individual eager to contribute fresh ideas and grow within a fast-paced marketing/ecommerce environment. The position is a full-time hybrid role based in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

As a junior content creator, you will work closely with our marketing and ecommerce teams to define content strategy, write compelling copy, and create eye-catching visuals across a range of channels, supporting the marketing initiatives of Napa. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly learn current online marketing strategies, trends, and how to utilize corresponding statistical data to make ongoing recommendations based on it. The candidate must be organized and able to manage time effectively. This role requires someone who is creative and can identify, create, manage and deliver content using a range of techniques, across channels including websites, social media, blogs, etc.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Create engaging and shareable content for digital media platforms and ecommerce sites, helping to update/maintain these channels on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to develop content strategies.
  • Research and analyze digital trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Assist in creating simple graphics, multimedia content, and photo editing.
  • Assist during photography shoots as needed.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute original ideas.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization.
  • Experience with Shopify.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Management Tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • An elevated aesthetic sensibility, a keen design eye, and a passion for interior design / home décor.
  • Comfort adopting artificial intelligence tools to help in the development of content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Excellent visual and written communication skills in the service of inspired storytelling
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Spark.

  • Carrying, Pushing, Pulling boxes and sample orders up to 25 lbs.
  • Prolonged use of computer involved; use of hands and finger coordination; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision. Color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus as needed.
  • Working at trade shows for 12 hours during Market to include standing and walking
