Product Manager

Norcross, GA

About us:

Napa Home & Garden is a wholesale home décor brand headquartered in Norcross, GA, and one in a family of highly regarded brands under C&F Enterprises. We design and source seasonal collections — furniture, décor, botanicals, and lifestyle accessories — for style-conscious independent retailers, designers, and specialty stores across North America.

Job Purpose:

Napa Home & Garden is evolving from a traditional buying organization into a strategic merchandising powerhouse — and we're looking for a Product Manager who thinks like a business owner, not just a purchaser. If you've built category strategy, owned a P&L, or driven growth through a blend of data and design instinct — in home, retail, or CPG brand management — this is a chance to bring that discipline to a design-forward wholesale brand at a real inflection point.

What You'll Own

  • Category strategy & assortment. Build 1 to 3-year category strategies grounded in consumer insight, trend data, and competitive intelligence. Execute the strategy into assortments that balance newness with core performance.
  • Brand & collection strategy. Give each seasonal collection a clear point of view and competitive position. The story carries through line sheets, look books, trade show presentations, and catalog/digital content. Partnering with Design and Marketing on execution.
  • The P&L. Own sales, margin, turns, and forecast for your categories. Build the launch business case and conduct post-launch performance analysis.
  • Product development partnership. Work with Design from concept through commercialization, writing product briefs that reflect real market opportunity and evaluating commercial viability at every stage. Execute a clear stage gate process, business case, samples, launch, post launch review, so all new introductions are evaluated and measured.
  • Vendor negotiation. Lead negotiations on cost, terms, MOQs, and exclusivity; build the global supplier relationships that give Napa a lasting competitive edge.
  • Cross-functional influence. Present category performance and strategy to senior leadership, and build alignment across Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to launch products on time and on strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in Buying, Merchandising, Category Management, Product Management, or Brand Management, with real accountability for a category.
  • Demonstrated experience owning brand positioning, product strategy, or go-to-market product launches.
  • A track record of turning data and consumer insight into commercial decisions, using trends, forecasting, POS data and competitive audits.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; comfort with ERP, PLM, or BI tools a plus.
  • A sharp eye for design and an instinct for what makes a product sell.
  • The confidence to challenge assumptions and the collaboration skills to bring people along with you.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field or equivalent experience.

Bonus points: experience in home décor, furnishings, or lifestyle categories; international sourcing exposure; or a background bridging brand strategy with commercial execution.
